Terms of Service
Last updated: April 9, 2026
We've kept these terms as simple and human as possible. By using FutureMe, you're agreeing to what's written here — so it's worth a quick read.
Who Can Use FutureMe
FutureMe is open to anyone aged 13 or older. By using the service, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you ever disagree with these terms, you're free to stop using FutureMe — no hard feelings. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the service means you're on board with any changes.
What FutureMe Actually Does
FutureMe is a digital time capsule. You write a letter today, choose a future date, and we deliver it — by email or SMS — when that day comes. Letters are private by default, but you can optionally share them anonymously in our public gallery. That's really the heart of it.
Playing Fair
We trust you to use FutureMe responsibly. Here's what that means in practice:
- Use real email addresses and phone numbers — fake ones just mean your letters won't arrive
- Don't use FutureMe to send spam, harass anyone, or flood inboxes with unwanted messages
- Keep your content lawful — no threats, no defamation, no content that violates others' rights
- Don't try to hack, scrape, or otherwise abuse our platform or infrastructure
- Keep your account credentials to yourself and let us know if something looks off
- Be yourself — don't impersonate other people or organizations
Public Letters
If you choose to make a letter public, it will appear anonymously in our gallery — no name, no email, nothing that identifies you. It's a way to share something meaningful with strangers without giving anything personal away.
By making a letter public, you give FutureMe permission to display it on the site. Your content stays yours — we just show it. If you ever want a public letter removed, just drop us a message at support@futureme.ge.
Delivery — What to Expect
We do everything we can to deliver your letters and SMS messages on the date you picked. That said, things occasionally go sideways — email filters, network hiccups, carrier delays. We can't guarantee delivery down to the minute, but we genuinely try.
Every letter needs email verification before it enters the delivery queue. If a letter isn't verified within 24 hours, it's automatically removed. SMS scheduling is a paid feature — each SMS costs a flat $1.00, regardless of destination. All SMS payments are non-refundable. Delivery also depends on carrier availability and our messaging provider.
SMS Pricing — Cost per Segment
| Segments | GSM Characters | Unicode Characters | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Segment | 1–160 | 1–70 | $1.00 |
| 2 Segments | 161–306 | 71–134 | $2.00 |
| 3 Segments | 307–459 | 135–201 | $3.00 |
| 4 Segments | 460–612 | 202–268 | $4.00 |
GSM includes standard Latin characters. Unicode is used for Georgian, Russian, emoji, and other special characters. Each segment costs a flat $1.00. Payments are non-refundable.
Ownership
Everything you write belongs to you — always. We don't claim any rights over the content of your letters. What we do own is the FutureMe name, logo, design, and the platform itself. Please don't copy or redistribute any part of our site without asking first.
Liability
FutureMe is provided as-is. We work hard to keep things running smoothly, but we can't promise the service will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Closing or Suspending Accounts
If someone misuses FutureMe — in a way that harms other users, us, or third parties — we reserve the right to suspend or remove their access. We don't take that lightly, but it's occasionally necessary to keep things safe for everyone.
